Aims and Scope

An application was submitted to the ISSN International Centre (Paris, France) to obtain the International Standard Serial Number – ISSN (Print), ISSN (Online) assigned to electronic scientific publications. In 2004, the ISSN International Centre assigned ISSN 1680-1245 (Print) to the print version of SDU's "Elmi xəbərlər" journal, and on 26.09.2019 ISSN 2706-719X (Online) was assigned to the electronic version of SDU's "Elmi xəbərlər" journal.

On 10.10.2019, an agreement was signed between the Scientific Electronic Library and Sumqait State University regarding the placement of journals in order to be included in the Russian Science Citation Index (РИНЦ) databases (Agreement № 408-10/2019). Since December 2019, issues of the "Elmi xəbərlər" journal published each current year have been regularly placed in the eLibrary.ru database.

Pursuant to agreement № DOIİD315 dated 30 November 2021 concluded between SDU and the Crossref digital documentation agency of the International DOI Foundation, the DOI prefix 10.54758/ has been obtained for all scientific works published at the University.

The "Elmi xəbərlər" journal provides immediate open access to its content.

Based on this principle, making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
